The NCDA Members Event and AGM will take place in the Bristol area on Saturday 10th February 2024.

SPEED COURIERS - A BIKE RIDE!

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride unites classic and vintage styled motorcycle riders from all over the world to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men’s mental health. To date it has raised over $37.5 for men’s health.

INTERNATIONAL WOMENS DAY - 8 MARCH 2023

Statistics state that women make up just 11% of the transport and logistics sector leadership teams, with women currently comprising just 0.7% of qualified HGV drivers across the country.

There is still a way to go in the sector but your NCDA committee is leading the way with over 20% female representation.

CODE OF PRACTICE AND THE NCDA CONSITUTION & RULES

Over the next few newsletters we will be reminding members of key points within the Code of Practice. A full copy of this and the NCDA Constitution & Rules can be found in the members area of the website. 

1.  Members at all times will strive to attain and maintain the highest possible operational and safety standards in all aspects of their business.
2.  Members will not bring the Association into disrepute. 
3.  All members should carry adequate Goods in Transit Insurance cover to a minimum value of £5,000.00 per ton per load.

For insurance don't forget the NCDA have partners in this area
